The USR2 offers the latest in internal, diode level glare control by minimizing direct views of the LED optics from all viewing angles. The glare control of the USR2 is enclosed within the fixture and thereby eliminates the degradation and dirt build up on and around the glare control optics.
Standard on every USR2 the Stainless Steel Aiming Device ensures precision field aiming during installation and when adjustments are needed.
The heavy-duty cast aluminum vertical aiming dial provides a secure, two-bolt clamping system to ensure the fixture does not move out of the set aiming position due to vibration or high-winds. The integrally cast aiming dial gives simple and straightforward verification of down angle on both sides of the luminaire.
The USR2 comes standard with a heavy-duty cast aluminum mounting bracket that includes integrally cast aiming angle indication. The mounting bracket pushes the trunnion forward to improve clearance and allowing proper fanning of the fixtures without interference prevalent in most contemporary LED sports lighting fixtures.
Unlike most contemporary LED sports lighting luminaires, the USR2 is designed with service in mind. The driver housing features stainless steel draw latches that permit opening of the driver housing without the need for tools or fasteners. The cover is tethered to the driver housing with a stainless steel safety chain such that the cover can be set aside during service without the fear of dropping parts during service.
A highly visible, color-coded label affixed to the front of the luminaire indicates the optical distribution of the system. This label is visible from the field and allows verification of beam type and location after installation without having to check the actual part number at the fixture location.
